Gold and white, born 7/29/95, pictured in 2004. Classified Excellent with a score of 90.9 in August, 2004. There was never any question from the moment of her birth that Heidi was a keeper, and that her name was Heidi. She was my first winning doe, and her patient attitude and long teats make her a pleasure to milk. She has also placed herself in charge of my sanity -- whenever I am upset about anything, she comes over, leans on me, looks up into my face, and simply exudes calmness and support. The grumpy expression on her face in the picture is an anomaly -- she must have been having a bad moment just when the photographer snapped the picture. Important wins: Best of Breed Doe at the ANDDA National Specialty on June 24, 2005, at the AGS National show week in Springfield, MA. At just one month short of 10 years old, she defeated many of the top does in the northeast, including the one that won AGS National Champion Doe the next day. My son Cedric had the thrill of his career so far, because he was the lucky handler showing her! Other big winners that weekend were Fairlea Fleur (ANDDA Best Udder), Fairlea Troy (ANDDA Grand Champion Junior Doe) and Stonewall's Diggory Venn (AGS National Champion Buck)!

| Gold and white, born 3/26/98, side picture in 2005, udder in 2002. She has an AGS classification score of 91.1, Excellent. Gretchen seemed fated to be one of those who wins lots of reserves and no championships because she didn't like showing (the grumpy expression on her face in the picture was fairly common in the ring), until at the age of 7, when she suddenly won three successive shows in August, 2005, to finish her permanent MCH. And now she likes showing! That's what an atmosphere of appreciation will do for a goat! She completes three generations of MCH does, Heidi (grandmother) - Gretchen (mother) - Fleur (daughter). | ||

Cream and white, born 4/16/00, pictured in 2004. Although less than 20 inches tall and a bit on the dumpy side, Fleur is very dairy and a fabulous milker, the best in my barn, with wonderfully large, soft teats. Judge Harvey Consodine summed up her talents in 2003, when, on bending over to examine her udder, he exclaimed, "Oh, my, you're a real working girl, aren't you!" On the way to earning her title, she won three Grand Champion awards, three Reserves, and three Best Udder, and at least two of the judges commented on her "incredible udder." She earned an AGS classification score of 92.2 in 2003.
Important wins: Best Udder at the 2005 ANDDA National Specialty, held at the AGS Nationals in Springfield, MA.

| Black and cream buckskin with a gigantic moon spot across her neck and left shoulder, born 3/22/01, pictured in 2004. Her AGS classification score is 90.1 E. Ariel has a beautiful, deer-like elegance; an amazingly round, capacious udder; and a calm, eager-to-please personality. She actually won three Grand Champion legs, but didn't get credit for one because her tattoo had faded so badly it was indecypherable. (Note: White tattoo ink is not permanent!) | ||

Black and cream buckskin, born 4/10/04. Photos July, 2009. Only shown twice as a yearling, because I had so many yearlings to show that year, she won Grand Champion Junior Doe. As a senior she now has several reserve Grand Champion wins and recently another Grand Champion leg at the Southern Vermont Dairy Goat Association's show under judge Todd Harp.

Polled, chocolate repartita buckskin with a little frosting on the ear bases, born 4/6/07, a triplet. Her first udder last spring was beautiful but small, an improvement on her mother in every detail that I had hoped for. This year, her second freshening, her udder is much larger and extremely productive. I hope to have newer pictures up soon.

White, born 4/21/08, a twin. She is NOT blue-eyed--that is Photoshop's annoying automatic red-eye reduction which I didn't learn until recently how to prevent. The picture shows her very capacious first freshening udder, May, 2010.

Dark buckskin with white spots, born 8/10/08, a singleton. Very sweet personality, very dairy, and lovely general appearance. She is very tiny - I keep expecting her to grow more, but it looks like she will stay very small. Pictures are from this summer, 2010, her first freshening.
